Discussion held with UK Government regarding Cambo oil field: EIR release

Information requested
All correspondence between the Scottish and UK government relating to the new Cambo Oil Field. This should include emails, letters, minutes of meetings, consultation responses and any other documents related to the proposed project.
Response
Attached is a copy of all the information we hold in response to your request and in the format you asked for. I have enclosed a copy of correspondence from First Minister to Prime Minister dated 12 August 2021.
Whilst we regularly engage with counterparts in UK Government and stakeholders about matters related to this such as the North Sea Transition Deal and the proposed Climate Compatibility Checkpoints, we have had no direct correspondence around this particular field.
You may wish to note that the licensing of exploration and extraction of offshore reserves is reserved to UK Government.
