Works of art on loan from the National Galleries of Scotland: FOI release

Please provide a list of all works of art on loan to the Scottish Government from the National Galleries of Scotland. Please provide the name of the art work, the artist, the location of the work, when the loan was made and for how long the loan is for and any special terms of the loan.

Response

The answer to your question is that as at 12 October 2021 there were no artworks on loan to the Scottish Government from the National Galleries of Scotland.

The National Galleries of Scotland collaborates with Historic Environment Scotland to support the display of National Collection artwork in Bute House. The loan for the artwork is between Historic Environment Scotland and National Galleries of Scotland.
