Information requested
Information relating to emergency operations centres and underground facilities.
Response
Scottish Government operates the Scottish Government Resilience Room (SGoRR) to coordinate our response to emergency situations. This facility is located in St Andrew’s House, Regent Road Edinburgh EH1 3DG. Contingency arrangements are in place to use other Scottish Government locations at Saughton House, Broomhouse Dr, Edinburgh EH11 3XD and Atlantic Quay 5, 1 Robertson St, Glasgow G2 8JB.
SGoRR has seating for 40 people. To adhere to COVID distancing guidelines this is currently reduced to 17.
A state of constant readiness is maintained.

Scottish Government do not use or maintain any underground facilities for emergency or any other purposes.
Scottish Government do not hold any information relating to Local Authority facilities of this nature.
