Response
In response to your request, I can confirm that the Scottish Government sent and received communications relating to Exercise Alice between 1 February 2016 and 30 April 2016.
I attach a copy of all stored records of communication relating to Exercise Alice sent or received by the Scottish Government between 1 February 2016 and 30 April 2016, which is attached at Annex A.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, exemptions under Section 30(b)(ii) (Free and Frank Provision of Views) and 38(1)(b) (Personal Information) of FOISA apply to some of the information requested. The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained in Annex B of this letter.
