“This is a formal request for information under FOISA.
Please provide a copy of all communications between the Scottish Government and the GFG Alliance on the subject of the first annual guarantee fee review.
I am aware that some redacted correspondence is already in the public domain. However, this information is incomplete for the purpose of my request, I believe the claimed exemptions do not apply and the public interest favours disclosure.”
Response
I attach some of the material you have requested. However, while it is our aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide all of the information requested because of exemptions under section, 30(b)(ii) – free and frank exchange of views, 33(1)(b) – prejudice to commercial interests and 38(1)(b) – third party personal information apply. The reasons why these exemptions apply can be found in Annex of this letter.
