“Information under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 concerning the application of crown consent by the Scottish Government to the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (WANE).”

Including:

“All documents, including but not exclusively internal memos, briefing documents, letters and draft legislation where crown consent to WANE is mentioned, at any stage of the legislation’s inception, its drafting and its passage through the Scottish parliament, to its achieving royal assent."

“All correspondence on the WANE bill with and from the Queen’s solicitor in Scotland, Bruce Wood of Morton Fraser, and any other member of the Royal Household or any official on the Royal Household’s staff, at any stage of the legislation’s inception, its drafting and its passage through the Scottish parliament, to its achieving royal assent.”

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exceptions under regulations 10(4)(e) (internal communications), 10(5)(d) (confidentiality of proceedings) and 11(2) (personal information) apply. The reasons for applying these exceptions are detailed in Annex B.
