Funding provided to Barnardo’s Springboard: FOI release

Information requested

1. How much funding do Barnardo’s Springboard receive from each Councils in Scotland, to provide CEYP [[care experienced young people)] with the TCAC [(throughcare and aftercare)]
service they’re entitled to access?

2. How many CEYP access TCAC in each Council area?

Attached is a copy of some of the information requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The reasons why we don't have the information are explained below.

1. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.

It is the responsibility of each local authority to decide how much funding it provides to third sector organisations such as Barnados. As the Scottish Government has no involvement in the decisionmaking relevant to your first question, it does not hold records that can answer the question.

For clarity in regard to tables 1.22 and 1.22 2018-19, we do not have information that disaggregates this data by local authority. A printed copy of this information will be posted to the address that you provided in your request.
