7. The waiting time for hip and knee replacements in each hospital unit

8. The total numbers waiting and the rate of replacement per annum

9. The numbers of trainees in each ST cohort and total number of trainees

10. The proportion of trainees who were not domiciled in Scotland on appointment Or the University of their primary MB ChB degree

11. The number of ST8 trainees who leave Scotland annually

4. NHS Education for Scotland publish age profile data for the NHS medical and dental workforce yearly at June. This is broken down by five year intervals and does not specify job role. 5/6. Data on staff leaving posts held by NHS Education for Scotland and pension data held by the Scottish Public Pensions Agency does not distinguish between job roles. This information is therefore not available.

10. Data will be publicly available around trainees who have applied from the UK on the specialty training website later this year. This will not be broken down by detail of how many applicants are specifically from Scotland.

Therefore figures have been provided, obtained from NHS Education for Scotland, on trainees with a primary medical qualification that had been obtained in Scotland who started in programme from the past 3 years.
