You asked for details about when and how since mid - December 2021 a £100million fund earmarked for hospitality was distributed.
Response
To 28 Jan 2022, £49.8million has been paid to 15,665 businesses from both hospitality and leisure funds. Local Authorities are making final payments from these funds to businesses and this should be completed shortly.
£37.6million has been distributed under the Hospitality: December and January Business Support Top Up Fund with 9,949 applications received and 8,169 businesses have been assessed as eligible for award. By 28 Jan 2022, the number of businesses already paid is 7,861.
£12.2million has been distributed under the Hospitality and Leisure: January Business Support Top Up Fund with 11,131 applications received and 8,907 businesses have been assessed as eligible for award. By 28 Jan 2022, the number of businesses already paid is 7,804.

This document provides Scotland-wide management information on the funds delivered up to January 2022. The table covers the vast majority of funds and was compiled from existing publications of funds though it may not include a smaller number of unpublished schemes. The total reported here includes several types of funding. It includes direct grants paid to businesses, as well as a small number of loans. It also includes non-domestic rates (NDR) relief granted to businesses.
