Response
With regards to your first question, Justice Analytical Services cannot produce any further subsets of the requested information beyond what we published in our Civil justice statistics in Scotland bulletins already referred to in the response from SCTS. We therefore cannot pull out the exact numbers of defended and undefended actions for Scotland and Glasgow from the records we hold.
We have now published statistics covering the period 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 for Scotland on our website. Please refer to Table 24 within Civil justice statistics in Scotland 2020-21 - Main Tables Supporting documents - Civil justice statistics in Scotland 2020-21 - gov.scot (www.gov.scot).
Below I produce an equivalent table for Glasgow and Strathkelvin Sheriffdom for the periods requested.

1) Figures for initiations and disposals do not necessarily refer to the same cases. Some disposals could be from previous financial years.
(2) There might be very small differences in numbers initiated to those supplied by SCTS due to their data being extracted from a live operational case management system. Our published data would be correct on the date it was extracted.
