Communication about ministerial travel to Ukraine between the Scottish Government and the UK Government: FOI release

What communication the Scottish Government has had with the UK Government and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) regarding ministerial travel to Ukraine from 1 January 2022 to 21 June 2022.

Response

The Scottish Government is in regular dialogue with the UK Government on a range of issues including ministerial travel abroad. We endeavour to ensure the FCDO and the relevant UK embassies are aware of upcoming international visits by Scottish Ministers. However, the Scottish Government has had no plans for Ministers to visit Ukraine between 1 January 2022 and 21 June 2022. As such, I can confirm there has been no communication between the Scottish Government and the UK Government on the matter.
