Information requested
A breakdown of international travel undertaken by Scottish Government officials over the last year showing the number of trips, duration, class of travel, cost and reason for travel.
Response
I attach a copy of International travel undertaken between June 2021and June 2022 in the attached document.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The attached document shows international travel booked via our corporate travel agent and travel costs claimed back via travel and subsistence. Data on international travel costs claimed back does not contain details of the date of travel or class of travel. The duration of international travel booked by rail is not captured by our management information.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some the information you have requested.
