Information requested

The number of people who have applied for compensation as a result of a miscarriage of justice. On 19 December 2022 and the 19 January 2023 we sought clarification from yourself regarding the period that the FOI request should cover. You replied on 19 January 2023 that you " would like information relating to 2018, from 1 January to 31 December".

Response

The answer to your question is that between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2018, the Scottish Government received three applications for compensation as a result of a miscarriage of justice.
