Information requested
"The attached response confirms that the Scottish Government’s Minister for Public Health participated in Exercise Nimbus. Under the FOI (Scotland) Act 2002 please confirm if any members of the Scottish Government’s Cabinet at that time participated in Exercise Nimbus. If so, please list all members that participated.
For clarity the Cabinet is the main decision-making body of the Scottish Government. It is made up of the First Minister, all Cabinet Secretaries, Minister for Parliamentary Business and Permanent Secretary."
Response
The answer to your question is that no members of the Scottish Government's Cabinet, at that time, participated in Exercise Nimbus. The Exercise was chaired by Mr Hancock, UK Secretary of State for Health, at that time. Devolved nations participation was limited to Health Ministers and their respective Chief Medical Officers (CMOs).
