Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

I would like to request the following information regarding outsourced contracts held for supporting and maintaining buildings that house all Scottish Government Directorates, Departments and relevant public services.

More specifically, I would like information regarding outsourced contracts for the provision of Hard & Soft Facilities management (including HVAC and Gas Engineering, as well as security services). Alternatively, if the format of the above request is too complex or unnecessarily convoluted, it would be reasonable to share information on outsourced contracts (as outlined in the table above) for each and all of the buildings that are under the ultimate control of the Scottish Government but which may accommodate multiple directorates (i.e. St Andrew’s House, Victoria Quay, Atlantic Quay etc).

The contract commenced on 1st October 2021 with an initial term of seven years and with options to extend for a further two, and then a further one, years.

Therefore, the initial term expires on 30th September 2028 and if it runs to its full 10-year term it will expire on 30th September 2031.
