Information requested

The dates of any National Care Service engagement events taking place over the summer.
For events that have taken place prior to the response, the list of attendees, minutes and all reports, memos and correspondence discussed and pertaining to the meetings.
For events due to take place after the response, the agenda and invited delegates, as well as any memos, reports and correspondence due to be discussed.

We are unable to provide information for your requests for:

Minutes, reports and memos discussed and pertaining to the events because of section 27(1) (information held with a view to publication) of FOISA applies to that information
Agenda, memos, reports and correspondence due to be discussed because of section 27(1) (information held with a view to publication) of FOISA applies to that information
List of attendees for events that have taken place prior to the response – members of the public and Scottish Government staff because of section 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information
List of invited delegates for events due to take place after the response because of section 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information

The reasons why those exemptions apply are explained in the Annex to this letter.

1. The dates of any National Care Service events taking place over the summer
Our National Care Service Events Eventbrite page lists all upcoming and past National Care Service regional forum events of summer 2023. This includes dates, locations and information on the themes of each event.

2. Correspondence discussed and pertaining to the meetings
See documents attached for emails and pre-event reading materials sent to delegates.

3. List of attendees – Ministerial and Senior Civil Service attendance
Due to FOISA exemption under section 38(1)(b), we are not able to provide names of members of the public who attended the events or Scottish Government staff below Senior Civil Service level. Attached to this letter is a table of Ministerial and Senior Civil Service attendance along with the number of Scottish Government staff at each completed event.
