Who is in charge of electing the funding for Future Pathways?

Response

The Director for Mental Health is the budget holder for the Directorate’s budget and the Director- General is the Accountable Officer. All funding decisions are approved by the relevant Minister, who is ultimately responsible for agreeing how funding is allocated.

In practice, it is the Survivor Support and Veterans' Mental Health Team within Scottish Government that has responsibility for funding Future Pathways. This team sits within the Trauma, ACES, Resilience, Survivor Support and Veterans' Mental Health Unit and the Unit Head is Suzi Macpherson, who can be contacted at SurvivorSupport@gov.scot.
