For all questions below, SAAS are currently in the early stages of a cloud migration project and we are currently negotiating with our Scottish Government Partners around the use of some of their Cloud Hosting services for some elements of cloud migration (e.g. our SAAS Website). Other options are also being considered but we are not expecting to carry out any external procurement at this stage

For all questions below, SAAS use the Scottish Government service for all of our Desktop, Network, Infrastructure and Security Services (SCOTS) and all of the below items are covered by our Scottish Government Partners. The responsibility for all of these services lies with them under the current arrangements. There are no immediate or future plans for SAAS to move away from this arrangement and we are therefore not expecting to carry out any external procurement for any of these services.

AI and Automation - SAAS are currently working with our Scottish Government Partners to develop some RPA (Robotic Process Automation) however this is under a current contract with an automation supplier and there are no plans for SAAS to procure AI or automation from anywhere else at this stage.

Digital Transformation - SAAS are currently undergoing a number of projects under Digital Transformation however the majority of these will be delivered in house. As mentioned in Q2 above, we are currently negotiating with our Scottish Government Partners around the use of their Cloud Hosting services for some elements but any proposed future procurements are unknown at this stage and unlikely to involve any external procurement.
