The following information on fraud losses for years 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24:

Question 1: The total amount of money that has been lost as a result of fraud in the following financial years.

Question 2: The total amount of money spent to retrieve the money lost to fraud in the following financial years.

Education Scotland’s annual accounts are published on our website here: Annual reports and accounts.

Question 1
No money has been lost as a result of fraud in financial years 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.

Question 2
No money has been spent to retrieve money lost to fraud in financial years 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021- 22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.
