Correspondence regarding Community Link Workers: FOI release

Information requested

  • A copy of all briefing and correspondence, since the 31 March 2023, between the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (including emails, attachments, typed or handwritten notes, letters, notes/records of phone calls, minutes of meetings, briefings, WhatsApp messages or otherwise) relating to funding cuts for Community Link Workers which will see the number of full -time positions reduced from 69.8 to 42.
  • A copy of all briefing and correspondence, since the 31 March 2023, between the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council (including emails, attachments, typed or handwritten notes, letters, notes/records of phone calls, minutes of meetings, briefings, WhatsApp messages or otherwise) relating to funding cuts for Community Link Workers which will see the number of full-time positions reduced from 69.8 to 42.
  • A copy of all briefing and correspondence, since the 31 March 2023, between the Scottish Government and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (including emails, attachments, typed or handwritten notes, letters, notes/records of phone calls, minutes of meetings, briefings, WhatsApp messages or otherwise) relating to funding cuts for Community Link Workers which will see the number of full -time positions reduced from 69.8 to 42.
  • A copy of all briefing and correspondence, since the 31 March 2023, between Scottish Government officials and ministers (including emails, attachments, typed or handwritten notes, letters, notes/records of phone calls, minutes of meetings, briefings, WhatsApp messages or otherwise) relating to funding cuts for Community Link Workers in Glasgow, which will see the number of full-time positions reduced from 69.8 to 42.

Response

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 30 Prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs, 29 Formulation of Scottish Administration policy and 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why those exemptions apply are explained below.
