Information regarding future funding for the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), specifically discussions held with the HSCP and the Scottish Government.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

After carrying out a search, there was one meeting identified which was held between Scottish Government and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership on 28th August 2023, and therefore enclose a copy of the meeting minutes.

Exemptions under Sections 30 Prejudice to Effective Conduct of Public affairs and 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why those exemptions apply are explained below.

Some of the briefing and correspondence contained information relating to: formulation of policy, personal details and Ministerial communications.

As at the 31st August 2023, no future meetings were scheduled with Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership regarding Community Link Worker funding for future financial years.

The Scottish Government meets Glasgow HSCP on a regular basis to discuss expenditure within the Primary Care Improvement Fund (PCIF), which is the primary source of funding for Community Links Workers in General Practice across Scotland. Discussions within the period in scope of the FOI enquiry have been focused on current, 2023/24 PCIF budgets.
