While it is not stated in your request, we have worked on this case assuming that your question is in relation to the slave trade.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under sections 27 (1) and 38 (1)(b) of FOISA apply to that information. The reason why the exemptions apply is explained in the Annex to this letter.
