Information requested

The following information in respect of the Chief Inspector appointment:

  1. Can you confirm when the post holders current contract expires in the next six months on 31 March 2024
  2. When will the vacancy for the above position be publicly advertised
  3. Can you confirm the job criteria for the above vacancy becoming available in April 2024

Response

1. The Chief Inspector post holder (Robert Scott) was appointed for a period of three years, running from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2024, with the possibility of an extension. This appointment has now been extended for a further period of three years and will run until 31 March 2027 with no further extension beyond this date.

2. and 3. It follows therefore that there will be no vacancy advertised and no job criteria relevant to a vacancy.
