b) Pay progression, i.e. movement through the pay range from the minimum to the maximum, is not a contractual entitlement and is discussed as part of the pay review process. It is expected that new entrants and newly promoted individuals begin on the minimum of the relevant pay range. Pay progression was agreed as part of the 2-year 2023-2025 pay award. Assuming pay progression is a feature of future pay awards eligible staff might expect to progress from minimum to maximum from between 16 to 36 months, depending on their grade and the date they entered the relevant pay range.

c) A full-time employee is contracted to 37 hours per week. As part of the current pay award it was agreed that this will reduce 35 hours from 1 October 2024.
