Information requested
Discretionary Fund allocations on an annual basis by HEI and HE sector level, for the last 5 years dating back to 2018/2019.
Response
Copies of the information you requested are attached separately for the years 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022 & 2022/2023.
Please note that the Discretionary Fund for nursing and midwifery students bursary (NMSB) students was issued separately by Health Directorate up to 2019/20. £0.5m was disbursed by them in 2018/19.
The allocations for 2020/21 and 2021/22 also included additional funds made available due to the impact of the pandemic.
