The First Minister’s speech at a Macquarie Group event on 20 of September, on the early implementation of the US Inflation Reduction Act.
You also requested for a transcript of the First Minister’s remarks and if no transcript was available you asked us to provide whatever notes of his remarks the Scottish Government does hold, including any briefing documents prepared in advance of the First Minister’s appearance at the event.
Response
Further to the response you received, we have now completed my review of our response to your request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) for briefing for the Macquarie IRA event.
I have concluded that a different decision should be substituted.
Following your request, we have determined that the briefing can be released in full, with the exception of personal data. We would like to apologise to you for the delay in providing a full unredacted response, and will endeavour to avoid such instances in future.
