Information requested

1. Does Lorna Slater use a mobile phone handset issued to her by the Scottish Government?

2. If Lorna Slater does not use a mobile phone handset issued to her by the Scottish Government, does the Scottish Government pay the bill for any personal handsets used by Lorna Slater, either directly, or via expense claims?

3. If the Scottish Government does pay the bill for Lorna Slater’s mobile phone(s), how much in total has this amounted to since she assumed office as a Scottish Government minister?

Response

Question 1:
Lorna Slater MSP has not requested nor received a government issued mobile phone.

Question 2:
The Scottish Government does not pay for any handsets used by Lorna Slater MSP, either directly, or via expense claims.

Question 3:
This is a formal notice under Section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not hold the information you have requested because as outlined above, the Scottish Government does not pay for any personal handsets used by Lorna Slater MSP.
