• All correspondence between Gillian Martin and her Special Advisors over her decision on 9 November 2023 not to consider Scottish Land Estates’ proposal for the use of humane cable restraints under a licensing scheme under the Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill.
• The minutes of all meetings attended by Gillian Martin where this licensing scheme was discussed during the period between 31 October 2023 and 9 November 2023.

The answer to your question is there is no correspondence between Gillian Martin and her Special Advisors over her decision on 9 November 2023 not to consider Scottish Land Estates’ proposal for the use of humane cable restraints under a licensing scheme under the Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill.

There was a meeting with Ms Martin and officials to discuss the RAI evidence session which took place on 31st October, there isn’t an official note of that meeting. During the period covered by the request the Minster also met with the Rural Affairs and Islands
