Information requested
Documents held by the Scottish Government in relation to the provision of a £200,000 grant that was paid to the Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre of Glasgow.

Our records show that the Al-Mahdi Foundation (Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre) was awarded two grants via the Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) as detailed below:

REASONS FOR NOT PROVIDING INFORMATION
The Scottish Government does not have the information
The Scottish Government does not have any project documentation. Both projects were awarded grants via the Climate Challenge Fund. Keep Scotland Beautiful (KSB) delivered the Fund on behalf of the Scottish Government from 2008 until their contract ended in 2021. KSB were responsible for assessing and monitoring all the grants awarded. All grant recipients were required to report quarterly on progress against any agreed outputs and to provide a breakdown of all costs incurred.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
