- All correspondence between Gillian Martin, Minister for Energy and the Environment, her special advisors, and civil servants, over the Welfare of Dogs (Scotland) Bill between 1 October 2023 to date.
- All correspondence between the Gillian Martin and animal welfare organisations over the Welfare of Dogs (Scotland) Bill between 1 October to date.
- All correspondence received by Gillian Martin that relate to the revision of the code of practice under the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act between 1 October 2023 to date.

I enclose a copy of all of the information that is available you requested.
The answer to your question is there have been various correspondence between Gillian Martin, Minister for Energy and the Environment, her special advisors, and civil servants, over the Welfare of Dogs (Scotland) Bill between 1 October 2023 to 23 November and this has been included in Annex A.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section 30(b) - free and frank provision of advice or exchange of views of FOISA applies to some of information. Furthermore an exemption under section 38 (1)(b) - the personal data of a third party of FOISA applies to some of the information also.
There has been no correspondence between Gillian Martin and animal welfare organisations over the Welfare of Dogs (Scotland) Bill between 1 October to date or correspondence received by Gillian Martin that relate to the revision of the code of practice under the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act between 1 October 2023 to date.
