Information requested

'All the available information regarding Annabelle Ewing, MSP for Cowdenbeath, Fife and any representation she has made to the Scottish Government regarding the funding for a new Health and Wellbeing Centre to be built in Lochgelly, Fife. This information should cover the last 10 years and include all written or verbal communications to the entire house and any written or verbal communication with individual MSP's, Ministers or civil servants'.

Response

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

The Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have asked for. The Scottish Government does not retain verbal communications outside of questions raised in Parliament. Written correspondence is routinely destroyed in accordance with our standard records management practice, however all official correspondence you have requested is enclosed as that is retained within that record management practice.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.

An exemption under section s.38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some the information you have requested. This removes personal identifiable information of individuals not related to the original request.

Section 25(1) of FOISA - otherwise accessible has not been applied to information already within the public forum and is included within the response.
