Could you please provide me with all costs the Scottish Government incurred in relation to the Court of Session case Scottish Ministers v The Scottish Information Commissioner, which was heard on December 6.

This should include all legal fees and any other costs incurred.

Response

The total cost incurred to date is £25,000 plus £5,000 VAT. These costs relate to the securing of external legal advice and representation in court from external counsel. These costs were met by the Scottish Government.
