"Could you please provide an annual figure in pounds for providing free care in Scotland? Can you please also provide figures for each year since it’s inception?"
Response
Most of the information you have requested is available from Free personal and nursing care - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
Additionally the data for the years prior to 2010 are in the attached document published by the Scottish Government on 30 August 2011 (ISBN 978-1-78045-363-7).
