I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested. Please see a readout of the First Minister’s meeting with President Erdogan of Turkey attached.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The meeting readout for the Scottish Government’s meeting with Lebanon had not been completed on the date of your request.

Exemptions under sections s.32(1)(a) and s.38(1)(b) of FOISA apply to some of the information you have requested. S.32(a) refers to information which by its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to, prejudice substantially relations between the United Kingdom and any other State. S.38(1)(b) refers to data that constitutes personal data that would by its disclosure contravene data protection principles.
