  • the number of assessed applications made by former Rossie residents since the Redress Scheme commenced in December 2021 to date;
  • the number of assessed applications made by former Rossie residents to date that have received an allocation;
  • the number of assessed applications made by former Rossie residents that have resulted in decisions to deny;
  • the number of applications made by former Rossie residents that are pending decision;
  • the length of time it is taking panels to make their determination on former Rossie residents;
  • the age of applicants;
  • the gender of applicants;
  • the type of applications for which former Rossie residents are receiving redress payments;
  • the level of applications for which former Rossie residents are receiving redress payments;
  • if applications have been denied, the reasons for this decision by the panel:

Response

  • the number of assessed applications made by former Rossie residents since the Redress Scheme commenced in December 2021 to date: There have been 13 assessed applications.
  • the number of assessed applications made by former Rossie residents to date that have received an allocation: 10 resulted in an allocation.
  • the number of assessed applications made by former Rossie residents that have resulted in decisions to deny: 0.
  • the number of applications made by former Rossie residents that are pending decision: 33.
  • the length of time it is taking panels to make their determination on former Rossie residents: We would refer you to Redress Scotland for this information, should they have it.
  • the age of applicants: Applicants ages range from 35 to 85+, given the small numbers involved, we have had to share as follows to protect anonymity:
  • 35-44 15% (7 apps)
  • 45-54 19% (9 apps)
  • 55-64 30% (14 apps)
  • 65+ 36% (16 apps)
  • the gender of applicants: Applications have been for both male and female applicants.
  • the type of applications for which former Rossie residents are receiving redress payments: All types of application.
  • the level of applications for which former Rossie residents are receiving redress payments: Levels range from 3-5, with majority being 4 and 5.
  • if applications have been denied, the reasons for this decision by the panel: n/a.

As you are aware, work is underway within 2024 to develop a Data Sharing Framework which will allow Scottish Government to share information as per the above, routinely with Scheme Contributors.
