Caithness Chamber of Commerce was given funding by the Scottish Government for Developing Young Workforce. Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the following -

1. How much was Scottish Government given?

2. Is there a record of what the money was used for?

3. How many jobs were created with this money?

4. Where were the jobs advertised?

5. Is there a job spec available?

We understand that the correspondent here is seeking to know how much funding was given to Caithness Chamber of Commerce by the Scottish Government and not, as stated, “how much Scottish Government was given”.

We hold the following information:

Grant from SG to CCC for DYW purposes
2015 – 2016 - £49,959.00
2016 – 2017 - £88,396.00
2017 – 2018 - £157,000.00
2019 – 2020 - £126,069.76
2020 – 2021 - £127,974.10
2021 – 2022 - £216,349.49

The Scottish Government has a role to monitor grant expenditure but this does not include holding a list of all activity so it should be noted that this information should not be read as a comprehensive record.
