Information requested

1. All communications between David Tydeman and Scottish Government Ministers between the 1st January 2024 and the 26th March 2024?

2. All communications between David Tydeman and Ferguson Marine board between the 1st January 2024 and the 26th March 2024?

Response

Under section 1(1) of FOISA, a person who requests information from a Scottish public authority which holds it is entitled to be given the information by the authority. However, in this instance, the Scottish Government does not hold some of the information requested. I will therefore detail a response to each question below.

1. All communications between David Tydeman and Scottish Government Ministers between the 1st January 2024 and the 26th March 2024?

Please find attached a copy of communications between the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Net Zero, and Energy, Ms Màiri McAllan and David Tydeman between the dates of 01 January 2024 and 26 March 2024. Please find attached in the annex a breakdown of the exemptions applied.

2. All communications between David Tydeman and Ferguson Marine board between the 1st January 2024 and the 26th March 2024?

The Scottish Government does not hold any communication sent between David Tydeman and the Ferguson Marine board between 01 January 2024 and 26 March 2024, or any other time period. This information will be held with Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Ltd. I therefore apply Section 17 (1) (b) as the authority does not hold that information, it must, within the time allowed by or by virtue of section 10 for complying with the request, give the applicant notice in writing that it does not hold it.
