Information requested

With relation to a recent Glasgow Client Manager job vacancy, you asked for information on:

  1. The number of applicants?
  2. How many were progressed to interview?
  3. What percentages of these groups had identified as having a disability?

Response

1.  The total number of applications received for the Glasgow Client Manager role was 1047.

2.  213 candidates progressed to interview stage.

3.  Social Security Scotland is a Disability Confident employer and are recognised as providing a fully inclusive and accessible recruitment process.

As part of the process, all candidates have a choice as to whether or not they disclose personal information on a disability. However, to assist, we have interpreted your request to be for the percentage of candidates at both the application and interview stages who identified themselves to be eligible under the Disability Confident Scheme (DCS)

12% or 126 candidates identified that they were eligible under DCS at initial application stage.

14% or 29 of these candidates were invited to interview.
