Protected trust deed statistics: FOI release

Information requested

1. Summary statistics on number of protected trust deeds on unique individual level by trustee organisation and calendar year of the advertised date.

2. Summary statistics on number of protected trust deeds on case level by trustee organisation and calendar year of the advertised date.

3. Number of live Protected Trust Deeds by trustee organisation.

4. Number of live Debt Payment Programmes by money adviser organisation.

5. Live Debt Payment Programmes by payment distributor organisation.

6. Number of Protected Trust Deeds with a debt level between £5,000 to £7,499 and £7,500 to £9,999 by trustee organisation.

7. Number of Debt Payment Programmes with debt level under £5,000 by money adviser organisation.

8. Summary of statistics on Protected Trust Deeds by trustee organisation and calendar year of the protected date.

9. Summary of statistics on Debt Payment Programmes by money adviser organisation and calendar of approval date.

I have attached a previous FOI request that may help you when collating this information. 1-5 above are to be the same as tables 1-5 in the attached. 6-7 above are very similar to tables 6-7 in the attached, only the monetary values have changed. 8-9 above are to be the same as tables 8-9 in the attached.

In addition to the above, can you please provide the following information (I’ve not asked for this before):

10. Summary of statistics for total number of PTDs closed, by trustee organisation.

11. Of those closed, how many were closed with no dividend paid, by trustee organisation.

12. Of those closed, how many were closed with the debtor’s discharge refused, by trustee organisation.

For all of the above please provide the data across two separate date ranges. 1st date range from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 & 2nd date range from 1 January 2024 to 31 March 2024.
