You should already have received a response (sent on 15 May 2024) to a previous FOI request, which also contains the information below. I appreciate that you therefore already have this information.

However, in the absence of this specific request being withdrawn, I am obliged to provide you with this response.

With regards to traffic collisions, the records we hold relate to collisions where someone is injured or killed, and which become known to Police Scotland. Therefore we do not hold information on non-injury collisions. The following table shows the number of injury collisions on the A9. Please note that the figures for 2023 are provisional and final figures will be released in October 2024. This may be an incomplete picture of the number of casualties due to a slight lag between records processed by Police Scotland and data availability. These figures are also subject to change due to subsequent corrections and late records.
