You asked for information relating to the Child Poverty Cumulative Impact Assessment that was published on 28 February 2024.
Response
Further to my letter of 22 May I have now completed my review of our response to your request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) to release slide 8 of the PowerPoint presentation called 3B Child Poverty Modelling Update.
I have concluded that a different decision should be substituted.
Upon review of the original correspondence and the slide deck I have considered if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption. We have found that, on balance, the public interest lies in favour of overturning the exemption and releasing all of the information in slide 8. Please see the attached slide.
