2. Could you supply all work/analysis which has been done, including briefings and correspondence on this topic, on how much value the Scottish currency will drop (30% says economist Ronald McDonald), from the past 12 months?

3. Could you supply the up to date page views of all the Building a New Scotland papers and downloads of them?

4. Could you supply all work/analysis which has been done, including briefings and correspondence on this topic, about the triple lock pension in an independent Scotland, from this year?

5. Could you supply all briefings, analysis and correspondence, including internally, and minutes from meetings, about all the independence polls, from this year?

Part 1

There has been no work or analysis undertaken by the Scottish Government regarding writing up a draft constitution for an independent Scotland, writing up a withdrawal agreement from the UK and sending an envoy to Brussels, from the past 12 months.

This is a formal notice under S.17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide the information you have requested because exemptions under section 29(1)(a) of FOISA (formulation or development of government policy), 30(b)(i) (Free and frank provision of advice) and 30(c) (Otherwise prejudice effective conduct of public affairs) applies to the information requested. The reason why this exemption applies is explained in Annex C of this response.
