Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government cannot provide the specific information you have requested on long term health condition that does or does not limit daily activity for any of the groups below. However, we are able to provide the following information:

(1) Proportion of participants entering employment by long term health condition limitation:

From April 2019 to December 2023, 2,125 (22%) of 9,511 disabled No One Left Behind participants entered employment and 13,334 (36%) of 37,419 not disabled No One Left Behind participants entered employment. Disability status was unknown for 7,545 participants.

The above information and additional characteristic breakdowns are available from the Supporting documents - Scotland's Devolved Employment Services: Statistical Summary May 2024 - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). Following the introduction of a new Shared Measurement Framework reporting template from October 2022, it has been possible to report on number and type of long-term health condition.

While it is possible to backdate this information for some participants, data completeness is low prior to October 2022.
