The credit facility agreement specifies that the total amount borrowed is to be repaid in equal instalments starting on the 1st of September 2022, and ending on the 1st of August 2042.

The Scottish Government has the right to renegotiate the terms of its loan agreements with football clubs, including changes to the timing or amounts of repayments to offer flexibility based on performance and final league positions. Hamilton Academical have negotiated a repayment plan to end in 2048. Dundee United have also negotiated an annual repayment plan to end in 2049.
