The document: ‘Digital Connectivity - Gigabit - Gate B2 November 2023 - Lot 4 - White in Scope UPRN list only'.

Response

The document in question was shared with potential bidders for a proposed Project Gigabit in Scotland procurement in the Fife, Perth and Kinross areas. The document provides a list of Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRNs), which correspond to premises that were contained in the draft procurement area. The premises were, at the time the document was produced, deemed eligible for public subsidy and were being considered for inclusion in any eventual procurement. 

The information contained in the document was accurate at the time of production (November 2023). However, because of continued commercial activity, premises can become ineligible for subsidy (i.e., if a supplier has subsequently indicated to the Scottish Government that they intend to connect the premises commercially within the next three years).

The procurement in question has not yet launched and, as such, there is no finalised list of premises that suppliers will be invited to include in their bids. Additionally, until the Scottish Government signs a contract with a supplier and an initial survey is completed, it will not be possible to confirm which premises will be delivered as part of any resulting contract.

Once a winning bidder has been selected, a contract signed and a survey completed, the Scottish Government will seek to make information available about which premises are included in thecontract.
