Information requested
Correspondence to health boards regarding temporary staffing, specifically letters sent from senior civil servants/NHS Scotland officials to all NHS Borders during the months of April, May and June 2024.
We have interpreted your request as pertaining to NHS Scotland supplementary staffing matters, such as the use of bank and agency to fill temporary gaps within the NHS Scotland workforce.
Response
I enclose a copy of the information you requested. Exemptions under section 38(1)(b) have been applied to some of the information, due to some of the documents containing personal information.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, the Scottish Government does not hold correspondence sent directly from NHS Scotland officials to NHS Scotland Health Boards. You may wish to contact individual Health Boards to obtain this information.
