National Smart Ticket Advisory Board minutes and correspondence regarding finance of the SPT Zone Card: FOI release

Information requested

1. A copy of the minutes from National Smart Ticket Advisory Board that took place on 26th March 2024.

2. Any correspondence or meeting minutes between Transport Scotland (TS) and Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) covering any aspect relating to finance of the SPT ZoneCard (including the price of the product for the end user). The time period for this request should coverany correspondence or meeting minutes from 01-01-2022 onwards.

1. The information you have requested is available on the Transport Scotland website at National Smart Ticketing Advisory Board | Meetings | Transport Scotland which contains the minutes from the National Smart Ticket Advisory Board on 26 Match 2024. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.

2. Attached are copies of communications between Transport Scotland and SPT, in the timescale requested, which are related to the finance of the SPT ZoneCard. As this is a commercial product, It should be noted, that Transport Scotland are not involved in discussions regarding the pricing of SPT ZoneCards. This communication was to enable the data to be included in the new version of the Traveline Scotland journey planning database.
