When the Open Market Shared Equity Scheme (OMSE) is to reopen and if there are there any changes to it?

What is the budget allowance?

Response

The Open Market Shared Equity Scheme (OMSE) reopened to applications on 20 June 2024. I can confirm that there have been no changes to the OMSE scheme.

As for the budget, I can confirm that the Scottish Government is restricted to the limit of financial transactions allocated to us by the Treasury, and with a backdrop of wider real term funding cuts we have provisionally allocated £27m funding for FY 2024/25 to re-open OMSE.
