Information related to the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) gas and electricity contracts, as well as details on the energy management system:
Gas and Electricity

2. Annual Spend for each provider for the past 3 financial years.

8. Total Consumption of Gas, please provide me with the latest figure in cubic metres.
9. Total Consumption of Electricity (NHH), please provide me with the latest figure in kWh for the past 3 financial years.

6. Scottish Government Procurement have advised they hold monthly/quarterly and annual review meetings and extension options will be reviewed 6 -12 months prior to expiry of contract.
7. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because the following exemption under FOISA applies: 38(1)(b) - Third party personal data. Section 38(1)(b) of The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) exempts the personal data of a third party in order to protect the individual’s privacy. To protect staff privacy SPPA do not provide the names and contact details of colleagues below Executive Team level.

Energy Management System
The SPPA, the Scottish Government and ‘EDF’ do not have the ability to influence or optimise for efficiency the electricity distribution grid in Scotland, the electricity distribution network is owned by ‘SSE’ and ‘Scottish Power’ and they decide how it is configured and the fees that they charge ‘EDF’ to use the grid to supply electricity to customers.
