Information on funding allocated to the New Scots programme, defined as all funding allocated by the Scottish Government to meet the goals and aims of the New Scots Strategies between 2013/14 and 2023/24.

Where this funding was not directly allocated from Government funds, please state the source of funding (for example any funding allocated from the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund).

The information above covers New Scots funding Between 2017 and 2023. Scottish Government allocated £1,348,382.36 to the New Scots Programme in the 2023-2024 financial year. The EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund ended in December 2023 and the total match funding provided by Scottish Government in the 2023-2024 financial year totalled £231,043.08.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. We do not hold funding details prior to 2017 in the format you have requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption(s) under section s.38(1)(b) (personal information)] of FOISA applies to that information. This exemption applies to staffing costs for each of the years specified. It is not possible to anonymise this information due to the very small number of staff being employed by Scottish Government in this area.
